Duckhouse Films is a production company built around honest storytelling — documentaries, narrative shorts, and branded work that takes the same care as everything else we make. Led by director Max Desantis, our latest documentary, Magic Island, is premiering at the Honolulu International Surf Film Festival and has been nominated for Best Documentary and Best Producer at Indie Short Fest LA.

Our recent work spans documentary, narrative shorts, and branded content — from Parisian Jam, an award-winning thriller that won an honorable mention for cinematography at the New York Film Awards, to Asli Ashley, a short film on the life of renowned artist Ashley Bickerton.

Every project starts with the same question: what does this story need to feel true? That's the standard we hold ourselves to, whether we're on a film set or on a client shoot.
